There was a lot of great footage shot this weekend, so I decided to just get into the editing right away. I want to share this particular clip because I love how it looks.
This clip is from the photo session at the hotel. I think the tendency would be for most people to add some kind of tacky love song, but that would just take away from the power of the images. I’m not 100% about the music yet, but I used the “Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven. It’s starting to stick with me, but you never know.
I also think the light from the window really adds a lot. It’s blown out, but in this case it really works. I could of used a light when shooting it to balance the image out more, but I like how it looks this way.
All things being said, I think this clip just demonstrates how something simply edited can have a more powerful impact than something over edited.
